Carthika Luxmanan | Scientist

Each newsletter we will introduce you to one of our staff members so that you can get to know the team. This edition is Carthika Luxmanan, a Scientist at Pacific Edge.

Originally hailing from Sri Lanka, Carthika has called Dunedin home for the last 14 years and has been with Pacific Edge since 2009, in our Research & Development team. She also provides a supporting role in Clinical Research and is our trusty health and safety officer.

In 2010 Carthika completed her PhD in Neuroscience from Otago University and has also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Technology and Entrepreneurship. Through these studies, Carthika has learned many transferable skills and techniques core to Pacific Edge's practices.

Outside of work, Carthika's passion is her four beautiful children and her husband Lux (who also works for Pacific Edge), and she has recently taken up classical Indian dance.
